DIRECTIONSFrom Redding Take I-5 North to Shasta Dam exit and follow Shasta Dam Blvd for 2 miles. Make a Right on Lake BLVD. After crossing Dam turn Left and 2 miles down will be the staging area.
DESCRIPTIONThe Chappie-Shasta OHV area has over 52,000 acres and 200 miles of trails ranging from rocks to soil to mountains and hills. The trails offer views of Mt Shasta and Lake Shasta and also the Trinity Alps.

An Access permit is required and must be acquired 72 hours in advance to be able to cross the Shasta Dam.
